The LCROSS Centaur and Spacecraft impacted the moon at approximately 4:30 a.m. PDT. Scientists are reviewing the initial data and will report what they know at a Post Impact News Conference at 7:00 a.m. PDT / 10:00 a.m. EDT on NASA TV.If you're bummed you didn't get up early to watch NASA's Lunar Rocket slam into the Moon, well... you didn't miss much. I got up at 4:15 am and started watching NASA Live TV and News Feeds. I know there were people gathered around the world to watch this event. I just watched it out of my home office.
I am a bit disappointed because I was expecting more. I've been following this mission since July. I just hope that NASA has some excellent data for review.
